One of the biggest tasks I had as an intern at Kasita is to CAD model electrical and plumbing components so that the product engineer could use them in a complete assembly of a Kasita's CAD model on SolidWorks. Many of the parts that I needed to model had organic shapes that were difficult to accurately model and required hours of work to finish. In total, I modeled around 96 intricate parts, almost a fifth of the total component library of Kasita. Modeling these parts drew from and built upon my previous years of experience with CAD modeling.
